Walking in Love

I decided to read a random short book of the Bible last night and God lead me to 2 John. The whole book is amazing even though it is short. If you have never read it I would say to read it soon. God used this part to talk to me. "I was very glad to find some of your children walking in truth, in keeping with a command we have received from the Father. So now I urge you lady- not as if I were writing you a new command, but one we have had from the beginning- that we love one another. And this is love: That we walk according to His commands. This is the command as you have heard if from the beginning: you must walk in love." 2 John 1:4-6 (HCSB translation). This reminded me that in living for God I must walk in love and by walking in love I follow Him. Showing love to someone is like showing them a little glimps of God's glory and peace. It is such an important part of witnessing to someone. God was so amazing to show me and remind me of this.
