Papa

My papa Richard Burleson passed away 10-9-10. I will always remember the fun times that we had together. He was so much more than a grandpa to me. For the first 6 years of my life he was my father figure. I remember him always there either making me laugh or making me so mad. He thought that it was the funniest thing to see me mad (most of the time). One of my favorite things to remember is when I would see him sitting and go over to sit in his lap. Almost every time I would end up falling sleep. He was such a big part of my life and will be missed so much. I am so beyond greatful that he is a Christian and is now with God. He has no pain and doesn't even remember what hurt is. Today we are going through picture of the family and it is so fun to see him when he was a young man. I am learning so much about his past. We have laughed over so many stories and cried over our loss. I am so glad to know I will get to see him agian.
