Titus Telling A Story

Titus was one of the few Godly local men I encountered. His fiance, Tekla helped with the VBS at Vieux Fort. He was a nice, funny man. He told a true story about a 16 year old girl who was going to kill herself because a lot of bad things had happened to her. She was pretty much alone in her life. This girl was going to lay down in front of a car. One night she want to a deserted area where few cars would pass. When she saw a car coming she laid down in its path. The driver was someone who had graduated school with her and was going to school to become a Pastor. He saw her laying in the road and pulled over (most people would not have done that in St. Lucia). He talked to her and persuaded her to not take her life. She turned her life around, gave her life to God and is now living for Him.

This short video is of Titus telling that story during the church service. He is speaking in Patios (pronounced pat-wa). In Patios they do not have a word for every English word, so they swap back and forth from English to Patios. I stopped the video right before he really started swapping back and forth, but see if you can find how many times Titus says the word "because".
